Tudor’s, Anthony’s and Dunkin’ move forward to preliminary planning stages
MARTINSBURG — The Berkeley County Planning Commission held a public hearing on Tuesday night to consider comments on multiple projects, including a possible Dunkin’ Donuts and Tudor’s Biscuit World/Anthony Pizza in Inwood.
At the hearing, there were no comments from the public regarding the Dunkin’ Donuts project. A motion was made and approved to accept the staff recommendations to advance the Dunkin’ Donuts from the sketch plan to preliminary plan stage.
According to a notice posted in The Journal’s legal ads, a request for sketch plan approval for Dunkin’ Donuts states that the property is located on the north side of Gerrardstown Road, approximately 900 feet east of Interstate 81, in the Mill Creek Tax District.
This project proposes the construction of a 2,051-square-foot Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant, with an additional 2,000 square feet of retail space on approximately 24.58 acres.
After the hearing, according to the Berkeley County Council website, the next step in the process for this project is scheduled to be heard at the Oct. 6 stormwater management concept meeting.
