Saturday, Sept. 25

9:44 p.m. – Caller from Chase Street area reported there were two males outside of their apartment with a baseball bat looking for a fight. Police investigated, but subjects were gone on arrival. BOLO alert put out using vehicle description and possible destination provided.

Sunday, Sept. 26

1:33 a.m. – OPD assisted APD to contain a disturbance situation at The Steel Pub where there was a large fight (five or more people) with unknown weapons and one unconscious party.

8:55 a.m. – Prescott Lane caller requested police assistance with a noise complaint of excessive barking of neighbor’s puppies when they are out. Officer spoke with both parties, complaint notification given, and ACO (Animal Control Officer) notified.

4:09 p.m. – An illegal burn situation at Fairman Road was addressed by both OPD and OFD. Permit was revoked and fire extinguished.

4:37 p.m. – E. Main Street caller requested follow up on his social security checks being stolen. Information on the suspected culprit was given to police.

4:45 p.m. – Burglar alarm from W. River Street area building where one of the doors had been pried open. Police searched the building with the K-9 detail, but found no one inside. Key holder finally arrived to secure the door, and they confirmed it was a rented space. Police later met with the person renting the space to try and further secure the…
