Police said the owner, 35, found his $100,000 vehicle missing from the driveway and officers later determined it was stolen before 4:20 a.m.

Glass from a window on the vehicle was found on the driveway.

The special edition Dodge Challenger was modified with high-performance equipment and the owner used it at the M1 Concourse race track on Woodward in Pontiac, police said.

A neighbor’s surveillance video showed that two men got into the pricey vehicle and drove away.

One of them wore all dark clothing and shoes, and the other wore dark pants with a white shirt and shoes.

Thefts of Dodge Challengers and Chargers are up this year in Royal Oak.
